I know you are saying I thought this was a fashion blog site....Don't worry this will all co-ordinate at the end of this entry .Yes a play on words .!
I was reflecting on two clients that I recently helped co-ordinate some outfits for different lifestyles,etc..But the finished products actually produced a SMILE !!!1
Client #1 ....Her aim was to find a dress for her daughter's upcoming wedding ! After the first 2-3 minutes
of pertinent questions ...What is the date of the event ? Where will it take place ? Time of day ?
Weather ? Formal /Informal ??? Ladies please have this information for your favorite salesperson when you approach them . The more information the better..It will cut down on the
time and produce results ,whether an immediate sale or reference to where to shop or other
avenues to relieve the stress !!!! At the point the client came to me ,a newcomer , the store was
in a transitional mode as far as clothing ,in otherwords sale on spring items and looking at pre-fall items .Well to get to the final outcome...I forged ahead and presented to her a new pre-fall
item ,lightweight merino wool knit 2 pc. knit dress and jacket...Yes ,when she stepped out of the fitting
area...there was the SMILE !!!!In otherwords I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Obviously the outfit was not for the wedding...but on my day off she re-entered the store and ordered a new perfect dress for the
upcoming occasion !!!(yes , I got the credit ) Just proves to say hard work and honesty goes.........................a long way !!!!!
Client #2...Actually a favorite reader of our blog page L.N. !!!!!A reknown teacher in the East Bay..............actually receives gift cards from her students so she can shop @ her favorite store
with her favorite salesperson...Of course the challenge is a little different ,because of time constraints, dressing appropiate for a school situation BUT !!!looking all the way chic ....Love the
challenge ...Actually the same end result is acquired ..the SMILE !!..In otherwords no-hassle
shopping...
Ladies,Gents..............Advice for the day find a genuine salesperson/shopping venue/a place
where there is great energy and has sincere people..There are a million places we can shop and
give up our hard earned funds...At the end of the day when you reach home and unfold that
tissue paper that SMILE will still emanate..!!!!
To close with this .........I think it is time to revive my brown suede fedora (hat that is !!!)
MJ you have inspired so many at so many levels !!!!Albeit must look for a perfect place to get
the hat cleaned and blocked !!!!!
