Pre-Fall =The First Day of Summer !!!!

I know the first thing comes to mind ..I have not begun my spring shopping ???!!!!!
Well, quiet as it is kept Pre-Fall has hit the stores ! Yes you have just received many a
mailer about the annual clearance sales and you have just begun to co-ordinate your spring
outfits but trust me forge ahead .
For those who have not figured it out as yet everything is bought months ahead and the fashion industry continues to evolve. There have been many articles in the past months about the
shift of the consumer buying and dressing .The news is not really new it all points to investment
dressing . One caution though the buys will not be as as deep this year because of the economy.
In other words the stores will not be jammed packed with multiple sizes and colors , especially
in Designers and Couture .In fact many of the gown vendors are strictly doing 'special orders'
only .Simply your choices will be limited !! Also many vendors are showing a little more relaxed
garments to compliment your needs . Armani Collezioni have a few jackets that are unlined and have a more
sweater type feel .Donna Karan has resurfaced with some wonderful iconic double-faced suits
and leggings are back .She was one and if not the first to offer leggings in her collection years
ago . Donna's meteorite sweater /sweatshirt is must for everyone ... the hand of the garment is divine !!!!!! Cobalt blue is available in Michael Kors and Donna's collection this season .
One of the best ,simplified fashion magazine that Kenneth and I have agreed upon is the June2009 issue of Harper's Bazaar for your Fall preview . It will definitely answer that question
that comes up every year....what color is in for fall ???? Honey..it is not the color it is the shade !!!! On that note ,let me adorn my shades and check out some clearance spots for my next
entry .
